Junaid MirzaJunaid Mirza specializes in international business and trade, assisting Canadian multinational expand their global footprint in a sustainable manner. Junaid is a senior manager in the transfer pricing team at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Prior to joining PwC, he was a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP. At both PwC and Deloitte, he has contributed to the development of Islamic finance teams, with a focus on securing Shariah-compliant Middle Eastern capital for investment projects of Canadian multinationals.
Junaid holds a Masters degree in international trade and finance from the University of Reading (UK) and an Honours Bachelors degree in business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University (Canada). Junaid is also currently working towards his Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Reading. Junaid has made been a regular guest lecturer at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and Munk School of Global Affairs, and the Centre for Islamic Knowledge (CIK). Junaid is a founding member of the Islamic Finance Advisory Board, a self-regulatory, non-profit, voluntary body engaged in the promotion and promulgation of Islamic Finance in Canada. |
